Doug has 15 years experience working as a professional engineer, during this time work has been completed for small business owners and large multinational companies throughout Australasia. Doug has an honest approach and values integrity in all transactions.
Doug is passionate about engineering and enjoys working with clients to solve difficult problems where there seems to be no solution. The variation and high quality deliverables provided has seen NQE steadily grow in capability every year.
Outside of work Doug enjoys working on his hobby farm, rebuilding machinery, woodworking and spending time with his wife and three kids.
Reuben is a professional engineer with over 12 years experience in the engineering consultancy field in Australia and Canada. Reuben’s experience includes structural / civil design, project management, consulting, inspections, condition assessments, various studies, estimating and design reviews.
The structures he has experience with include a variety of structural assets including tanks, boilers, bins, silos, associated support steel work, wind fences, foundations , civil works and mobile bulk materials handling machines.
Outside of work Reuben enjoys a variety of sports including cycling, running, paddling and kitesurfing in the Townsville Region. He and his family also formed a love for the snow, snowboarding and back country touring while in Canada.
Jack is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 16 years industry experience, 9 of which are in the engineering field.
Jack has a large array of experience in several industries in the industrial field.
Outside of work Jack spends his time at the gym inclusive of coaching or catching up with mates or busy on the tools with many of his projects.
Pablo is a Mechanical Engineer with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
Pablo worked for over six years in Argentina and Spain developing his skills as a maintenance supervisor and R&D engineer before settling in Australia.
Pablo has experience in a wide range of areas including concept development, R&D, detailed design, maintenance, project management for various structural and mechanical components including Pressure Vessels, Vehicle Modifications and Hydraulic and Piping Systems.
When Pablo is not working on our client’s latest projects he enjoys running, travelling and is known around the office as a bit of a cuisine connoisseur.
Julie is a qualified Bookkeeper with experience in small-medium size business management. Julie manages the day to day running of our office, looking after accounts, job flow and reception.
Outside of work, Julie enjoys puzzles, going to the footy, and spending time with her family.
Josh is a Mechanical Engineer who completed his degree at James Cook University with a passion for mechanical design, and a love of learning. Growing up in Ingham, Josh has experience with the conditions of North Queensland, and design considerations related with life in the tropics.
Outside of work Josh enjoys fishing, camping, and racquet sports such as Tennis and Squash. When not outdoors, Josh can be found browsing Marketplace for his next project car.
Patrick is a Mechanical Engineer who completed his degree at James Cook University, with interests in mechanical design, 3D Modelling and drafting. Being raised on a small farm in Yungaburra FNQ, he brings a practical approach to learning and enjoys hands on and site projects. He hopes to continue to develop his design skills and obtain a knowledge and understanding of project management.
In his spare time, Pat enjoys going to the gym, swimming, and hitting at the driving range. You’ll find him at all Cowboys home games cheering on with his university mates.
